Gas turbine demonstrates its formidable vitality by the merits of its weight light, power big, the ease of operation and the mobility strongly and so on. And it takes the driving force more and more application in the warship, the freighter, drilling platform and power station. It is well known, this kind of engine needs to intake amount of air, but there is the massive salinity in the sea atmosphere, which existence by the aerosol form. Therefore the air intake system in the ship has the quest of desalinization, gas turbines with large intake quantity have more stringent demands for resistance, desalting efficiency and sizes of desalting devices. The traditional moisture separator mainly contains two parts, the one is shape complex inertia separator, namely inertial stag, and the other is multilayer gauze stages. This article main introduces the change of resistance characteristic and efficiency characteristic due to affiliate cyclone separator configuration in the original moisture separator foundation which can improve segregate efficiency. Moisture separators in use for desalting are simulated numerically and corresponding experimental study, so that supply reference for design and make of high-powered marine moisture separators. In this thesis, undermentioned works had been done mostly:1. Numerical simulation resistance characteristic of flow fields in cyclone separator. To provide the establishment method of model, transformation form of governing equation and the hypothesis of boundary condition etc. it will be strict reflection physics authenticity in the shape of geometry boundary and not make any simplification. The key lies in disposal of complexboundary grid division question.2. Numerical simulation efficiency characteristic in cyclone separator. Joining discrete phase model into computing, which purpose is to simulate really flow. To select suitably injection plane and the collision question of wall for the compute.3. Designed and made special minitype experimental wind tunnel is used for characteristic study of cyclone separator as well as test of numerical simulation results. The research can provide theoretic basis for the design and optimization of cyclone separator in ihe future.
