in this paper, firstly, the detection probability and detection range of the Space-based Infrared System in the U.S. Ballistic Missile Defense System are discussed and analyzed from technical aspects. Secondly, the modeling of the nuclear conflict model and its numerical simulation are processed on the basis of the software platform of Geographic Information System. Thirdly, the visualization programming with respect to its theoretical bases, process and functions is studied. Fourthly, using produced demonstration system software, some basic factors of the nuclear conflict model are numerically simulated and some remarks are made. Finally, the work of this paper is summarized and ideas on the further research are given.
