The application of Programmable Logic Device in Electronics Design actuality brings tremendous flexibility for the design of digital system, with the appearance of SoC(System on a chip), the efficiency and reusable of electionic_chip is improved remarkable , and the EDA industry is developed faster than before. At present, people often put the whole system into the electionicchip. Compared with the traditional measurement system, the present measurement system have less size, low cost and higher reliability, and can be modified to match with the user's different requirement and be used very flexible.The article introduces the course of development, actuality and foreground in Electronics Design Automation technology. And discuss the study of this problem. The article investigates the effect of the EDA technology development about the circuit design. And discuss the basic method of exploiters System of a Chip by complicated CPLD and VHDL language. Then introduces some methods of frequency measurement, and analyses their errors. The paper designs a frequency measurement system with uniform precision and Adaptation based on the actuality of frequency measurement field. It overcomes the old frequency meter's defects of lower precision, changed precision in the measurement and slower shift speed. Then the design of system is introduced in detail and the paper separates the system into two parts. The first is the hardware design of the system, introduce the primary devices, analyze the device's lectotype and characteristic and design the schematic diagram; the second is the system's software design, introduce every module of software in detail and give the module symbol. At last the system is synthesized, complied, optimized and simulated. In the design ,the system is programmed by VHDL language and assemble language. Quartus II is used as the develop plat, and all the programs are complied and simulated successfully. The design process of frequency measurement system and the found and simulation of model are studied in detail in the paper.
