Combining the reality need of high grade highway development to pavement roughness elevated demand, this thesis mainly researched the quantitative relation between the roughness index and pavement state parameter, put forward a new method of pavement roughness quantitative controlling and inquiried the way and possibility of probing into its realization. It explicited such concepts as the definition, measuring method and evaluation index of the pavement roughness, etc, elaborated the measuring principle of the continuous type pavement measuring instrument and calculation formula of mean square deviation (δ )in detail, have set up artificial model which imitated the measuring course of the eight appearances on the ideal sine pavement model, and worked out programs in MATLAB scientific calculation language, calculated and derived out the quantitative relation among mean square deviation of the roughness, the wavelength and amplitude of pavement. On this basis, through the analysis to floating screed structure and characteristic of the asphalt paver, consulted the work principle of paver auto-leveling control system, it argumented the feasibility that making use of quantitative control paver, realizing the quantitative controlling to pavement state parameter and then obtaining the ideal roughness index. The relation which thesis obtained and analytical conclusion of pavem ent power spectral density can fit together, it makes the research of the pavement roughness more overall and humanization that combining riding comfort to seek the value range of pavement state parameter. Thus to develop advanced paver leveling system, improve the control method and raise the homework quality, this thesis has certain theories and realistic guiding significance!...
