The water damage of asphalt pavement has been one of the uppermost disease in highway. A treated permeable base which is the most effective methods can efficiently intercept and convey water laterally away from the pavement.OGDM-19 asphalt mixture is set on the semi-rigid base as permeable base can make full use of it's favorable factors, and the OGDM-19 permeable base's mix design and performance are studied in this thesis.First, the mix design of OGDM Permeable base is presented, which is one of the most important research findings in this thesis. This part includes the following two points. The selection approach of Asphalt grade of OGDM-19 asphalt mixture is given in this area. Moreover, a more reasonable method for determining the optimum bitumen content is provided. Secondly, the Performance of OGDM Permeable base is researched in this dissertation. This part includes the following points. Effective porosity and coefficient permeability can be estimated by two equations in this part. Based on the comparison between the asphalt pavement structure without OGDM-19 and that with OGDM-19, the performance requirement of OGDM-19 is presented. On the basis of the stringer fatigue tests in laboratory, the adhesion of asphalt factors effected on fatigue properties of OGDM-19 permeable base materials is analyzed. Thus, the different measures which can improve the water stability of OGDM-19 permeable base materials are compared.
