Reinforced Concrete Bridge Durability Analysis

Based on large numbers of existing bridges, this paper analyzes and studies the dominant factors which affect the durability of the reinforced concrete bridges, such as the rustiness of reinforcing steel bar, the freeze-thaw cycle of concrete, the alkaline-aggregate reaction of concrete. This paper also brings forward the method to check and measure the disease of the reinforced concrete bridges, such as checking and measuring of crack, rustiness of reinforcing steel bar, deck pavement, carburized depth of concrete. In the last part of this paper, the author brings forward some steps to improve the durability of reinforcing concrete bridges, including material, design, construction and running of the bridges, and introduces the construction methods of deck pavement of outsize bridges.
