Informational war takes the challenge for training the serviceman. The technology of Multimedia and net rapidly progressing will bring chance for the informational education. Implementing WebBasedEducation will be the main direction of the educational field in the century.Military geography teaching is the based teaching of the military education. It takes the task that training serviceman to develop the innovative consciousness of using the battle environment and elaborative faculty of Winning of the modern war. However, currently way of teaching is not fit for the demand. It is the time that military geography need innovate. It will be the main task that teachers implement WebBasedEducation in military geography teaching in net environment.Firstly the paper represents the using of net education, introduces the development of WebBasedEducation' s theory base and constitutes of communication technology. Secondly, the paper introduces the principle and theory of designing WebBasedEducation, the characteristic and disadvantages of military geography teaching; analysis' the feasibility of using WebBasedEducation in the military geography teaching. Thirdly, Based on the demand of using map and collecting, organizing, controlling database and implement of geography teaching, the paper researches the technological characteristic of WEBGIS and puts forward a blue print that using WEBGIS designs geography teaching. Finally, the paper uses an instance to validate the feasibility of this new way.
