Geocell Wedged-shaped Flexible Slab is a new technology to treat bridge bump. Based on the FEM software ---MARC and through foundation settlement simulation and loose area material subroutines, the numerical simulations to large-scale tests were done in this paper, and the results of actual model test were predicted. According to the results of simulations, the main and subsidiary sections were determinated, then implantation sections and distances between measuring instruments were listed. By using of on the large-scale test flat and giving the control of ground subsidence curves, the results of large-scale tests of two different abutments (gravity type and cross brace type), which were treated with Geocell wedged-shaped flexible slab, were analyzed. The adaptability to ground subsidence and active property of Geocell Wedged-shaped Flexible Slab were achieved. |
