The Multi-shaft Road Tunnel Ventilation Network Theory And Its Applications

Based on the western assignment of ministry of communications- "Research on the emulating, simulating and experiment technology of long highway tunnel ventilation", the paper introduces the ventilating network theory into the research on highway tunnel ventilation. According to the practical situation of tunnel ventilation, the paper studies the calculating principles and methods of factors which affect the air in the tunnel, such as fans,transportation stream, natural air and air pressure in the fire, in the ventilating network theory. The paper also studies the mathematic models and logical relations which can correctly reflect the practice in the projects. Finally, a tunnel ventilating network calculating program is designed. Then the program is put into practice in the Qinling Zhong-nanshan long highway tunnel, Xue-Fengshan tunnel in Hunan province and new Qi-Daoliang tunnel in Gansu province.
