Motorcycle Chain Lubrication System Simulation Analysis

The application of computer aided engineering to dynamics analysis contributes a lot to the design and application of fluid engineering program. The characteristic numerical solutions and the analyzing of fluid field visibility in computational fluid dynamics provide useful materials for fluid dynamics analysis.This paper is based on the improvement in products of the automatic chain lubricating system adopted by a foreign company, mainly introduces the research to simulate the fluid characteristic of oil-dripping valve in the lubricating system. The purpose of the research is to provide a new-technology research and a way to apply the technology into practice, so that the design and simulation of automatic chain lubricating system can be made easier and more precise.In this paper, the channel of the oil-dripping valve will be firstly analysis theoretically according to micro-fluid dynamics, with respects to the structural characteristic of the lubricating system, thus to make understanding of some special fluid field characteristics in the micro-channel. Secondly, on the base of the theoretical analysis, a physical model for simulation analyzing and computational model will be set up, with the help of an aiding simulation environment through ANSYS Workbench. Following the interchanging between the parameters CAD, CAE, and CFD, the transformation between reconstructions resulting from readjustment of the model can be simplified, the time for developing program saved. Finally, by tracing the interface-tracking method and using the simulation software ANSYS, analysis the variation of fluid field when the drop formation at the outlet. Meanwhile, the conclusion of improvement will be drawn, comparing the field pressure and fluid speed before and after the readjustment of the model of the oil-dripping valve.The simulation analysis of the model is to contribute theoretical aid to improve the valve structure of the chain lubrication system.
