In this paper, researches were made on a simplified box structure. First, based on the piezoelectric theory and FEM (Finite Element Method) analysis and knowledge of active vibration control, theoretical analysis and computer numerical simulation was carried on. And then, an experiment upon real-time active vibration control of the box structure by computer was carried out.The box structure was made first. Low order modes of the box structure were measured in experiment through LMS system, then the normal modes analysis and response analysis in time-domain was calculated through FEM, and the results were compared with the experiment datum. After that, transfer function model of the box structure was built, and active vibration control simulation was carried out through Simulink. Finally, the real-time active vibration control experiment by computer was carried out, and the datum measured indicated that the first mode resonate of the box structure was suppressed by the designed PID controller.
