With the development and application of information technology, computer technology and network technology, networked manufacturing mode with rapid responsive mechanism to the market demands is needed to be built because of the change of manufacturing circumstance. In this mode, numerical control device----the bottom of manufacturing system should be connected to network. By this, enterprise can optimize resources, implement rapid responsive mechanism, and improve market responsive ability. Therefore, networked numerical control system has been a studying hotspot, but most of them centralize in remote information share and remote service. Although some scholars have studied remote monitoring, but most of them are based on intranet and need special application software. So it restricts the application area, increases the cost, and enhances the hardness of maintenance and upgrade.In this case, this thesis research the open WEB-CNC system in the internet/intranet environment, put forward the B/S and C/S combined structure, develop the prototype system based on TURBO PMAC, and resolve a series of key technology. This system not only include the normal function of numerical control system, but also have remote monitoring, control and service function through the browser. The main study content of the article is as follows:1. Based on analyzing the requirement of CNC system for networked manufacturing, the function model, C/S and B/S combined structure of WEB–CNC are put forward.2. Develop the prototype system based on PC and TURBO PMAC , design the software and hardware of prototype system, and implement the program coding, motion interpolation, servo drive control, process real-time control, program editing, system parameter setting, state shown and so on normal function of numerical control system.3. Analyze the key technology of open Web-CNC system, such as network database technology, web communicate technology, and real-time collecting data technology. After that, implement the network function, such as real-time collecting data module, remote monitoring module and remote service module.4. In the intranet environment, test the network function of prototype system, detect the real-time, and analyze the system safety.
