The vehicle has been inseparable for people’s daily life, and with the oil depletionand the worsening environment, the research and development of the hybrid electricvehicle has become an important way of energy saving and environmental protection. So based on the Chongqing cooperative innovation project" the development of remotemonitoring system for Hengtong’s new energy bus" and the special funds of state keylaboratories project, this paper has studied some problems on the real-time remotemonitoring system of hybrid electric vehicle, and it laies the foundation for the trialoperation and parameter matching. The main research contents of this article as follows:①In hybrid bus foundation, this paper elaborated the basic principle of remotemonitoring system. Based on the data collection needs, The CAN bus of the traditionalinternal combustion engine vehicle and CAN bus hybrid power bus has been compared, and analysising the CAN bus data frame structure;②The system selected GPRS backbone network as monitoring system’s wirelesscommunication network. Based on global positioning system principle, selected theNMEA-0183GPS data protocol and carried out a detailed analysis on the protocol. With the technology of CAN bus, GPRS wireless communication technology and GPSpositioning technology, this paper put forward the monitoring system;③Based on the overall scheme of the system, this paper put forward thehardware architecture, the completed the design and selection vehicle terminal’s dataacquisition module, GPRS wireless communication module and GPS module, meanwhile the C/S three layer system structure of server has been set;④Based on the needs of data acquisition and wireless communication, thecorresponding data communication protocol has been designed. The system usese SQLServer2005as database development tools to build the database, and on the mServersoftware, each function module of the monitoring system client software has designedwith Visual C++which is as the development platform, then completed the system’sintegrate;⑤With the surport of Hengtong’s new energy hybrid electric bus, the equipmenthas been loaded. In the experiment the hardware configuration has been completed. Finally the successful implementation of the traffic data real-time acquisition, wireless transmission, data analysis and GPS running track display and other functions meet therequirements of the project.
