Torpedo Guidance and Control System (TGCS) is an important part of torpedo whose performance will directly influence torpedo's battle performance. Now, the system architecture of TGCS mainly uses the Central Control System (CCS), which cannot meet the internal communication requirement of next generation torpedo, which has farther voyage and higher maneuverability. The generic architecture of torpedo guidance control system is studied thoroughly in this paper, and the system architecture of TGCS based on the Networked Control Systems is proposed. This architecture can be preferable to resolve the shortage of CCS.According to the tactical request of TGCS, the model of TGCS based on NCS is put forward, then the feasibility which NCS is applied to TGCS is validated. The event -triggered architecture and the time-triggered architecture applying for TGCS is analyzed and compared. Meanwhile because of a good many merits of TTCAN compared with CAN in realtime, it can be likely to use in the TGCS based on NCS. In addition, the communication protocol and data transfer in TGCS based on NCS is discussed. For the stability problems brought by the network delay and the packet losses , the methods of solving these are studied, and moreover, by the example of the model of TGCS based on NCS ,the results of simulation is accord with the theory. At last, the solution of TTCAN redundancy design was given, which will be important for its application in reliability of TGCS based on NCS. This production of paper will be important technical storage for the next generation full digital torpedo.
