There are close relations between the testing technology and the scientific research. The testing technology is more and more important in the scientific research. In this paper, we give a summary of testing technology and he course of its development, and then we design a automatic testing system for the research of the GMR (Gaint-Magneto-impendence efect) of the magnetic films.In view of the step of the development of a system, we divide this paper into some units: system analyzing, system architecture designing, system thorough designing, system Hardware and software particular implementing, tested-data filtering ,We give a detail analysis of each units, such as the hardware designing of the scanning maganetic field power and constant current power. In this paper, we discuss the communication between the computer and the apparatus, also give the method of realizing them, we display the tested-datas in a picture and save them as a file in order to processing them later, median filter is used in this system to improve anti-jamming ability ,as a result ,the stability of the system has been greately enhancd.After several debugging and mending ,the syetem has been used in the ciguang lab of physics department in our university,whitch basically meets the scientific research.with the running stabilization , precision data , convenient user interface, Using this system User can save a lot of time and money in the research.
