Gamma Spectrometer At The Environmental Radiation Live Metric Transfer Traceability System

With the improving in living conditions, the issues of the environmental radiation attract people's increasing attention, the measure of environmental radioactivity is more and more important. However,there is no unified environmental radiation datum instruments of measurement and valuation traceability system in China, seriously constrained radioactivity measure. With the development of international trade and due to its relatively backward technology, Therefore, establish -ing unified environmental radiation valuation transfer and traceability system in medicine and environment etc is very important.To cope with the difficulty, the author took part in the research project of environmental radiation valuation transfer and traceability system assigned by NIMTT and NIM, the project aims at an uniform on environmental radioactivity valuation transfer and traceability system. The research project mainly includes: the test of HPGe gamma-ray spectrometer's characteristic, the package of the samples, energy calibration, efficiency calibraion, the determination of instrumental constant, the determination of the samples radioactivity, the establish -ment of nuclide radioactivity standard function and valuation transfer and traceability system.The experiment calibrates the instrument through ¹⁵²Eu, there are the results of the environment samples radionuclides radioactivity by the methods of energy calibration and efficiency calibration. By error analysis on the measured results, the best radionuclides radioactivity measure standard outfit establishes. Finally, through evaluation of uncertainty on environment samples, unified environmental radiation valuation transfer and traceability system establishes.By means of some technical methods, some interferential factors such as self-absorption was eliminated or reduced to the degree that the effect can be neglected.
