Dam safety monitoring system based on Web is tried to develop in the thesis by combining with dam safety monitoring theory, ASP, database design and computer network and so on together. The general structure of monitoring system, database constitute, data preprocess, the key technique of monitoring system based on Web and the seepage monitoring model are thoroughly studied in this thesis. The dam safety monitoring system of ZhaoPingtai reservoir (ZPTDSMS) is developed. The details are as follows.1. The monitoring system is designed according to the development request of the software engineering and the fact of ZhaoPingtai reservoir. The design principle, development objective, data acquisition mode and software configuration of the system are nailed down, the system structure is made out and designed in detail, and the realize function of system is made certain.According to the monitoring items and survey point distribution of ZhaoPingtai reservoir, referring to the step of hardware lectotype, the hardware lectotype plan is made sure in the end.2. The Database system of ZPTDSMS is made out, designed and optimized by using ER model design method.3. In order to assure the dada analysis is based on the exact and reliable monitoring data, the monitoring data must be pretreated (such as the conversion of measuring value and error verify). The method and step of data pretreatment are introduced in detail in the thesis.4. The technique realization is elaborated, including ASP, database access, the dynamic hydrograph rendering method and the facture of the journal sheet.5. The statistical model of seepage press and seepage flow are explained in the thesis, and the program of modeling analysis is compiled using the step-by-step regression method, which makes the system have online and dynamical modeling function according to actual collecting data.
