The technology of gear shift automaticly is an important direction of improving and perfecting the transmission system of the vehicles, and it is the kernel and important technology which needs to be empoldered nowdays. The appliances of neoteric electronic technologies in vehicles make the appliances of the technology of gear shift automaticly far and wide. The system of Automatic Mechanical Transmission can alleviate the driver' s fatigue and heighten the impetus quality and economic quality of fuel of the vehicles. At the same time, the system of AMT has the virtues of briefness of making and lowclass price, and so on. Then, the system of AMT is propitious to heavy duty truck.By Studying the domestic and overseas datums of AMT technology, this paper introduces the development and the actual appliance status of AMT, and analyses the appliance meanings and foreground that the AMT technology was applied on heavy duty truck.This paper analyses the intrinsic structures of HOWO heavy duty truck which was made in China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Corp. Contraposed the characteristic that heavy duty truck depends on air pressure to realize the transmission, this paper mends the truck' s engine unit,clutch unit and gear-box unit in term of the principium of the AMT system. And this paper nailes down the input signal and output signals.In the design of hardware, this paper nailes down that the control chip is TI company' s TMS320LF2407a, analysed and designed the anti-jamming circuit.
