B-model ultrasound diagnosis, one of the most important diagnosis means, was widely used in modern clinic. With the development of electronic technology, digitalization is inevitably in ultrasound system.The major content of this paper is digital implementation of B-mode ultrasound diagnosis. With studying carefully the theory and analog circuit realization of analog ultrasound system, we propose a design of digitized front-end of B-mode ultrasound diagnosis based on FPGA.In this paper, at first, we analyzed the feasibility of dynamic focusing by interpolation method, and then introduced our particular design of digital-coding emission, dynamic filter, dynamic focusing and digital I/Q demodulation in digital front-end based on FPGA. The simulation indicated that our design is feasible, not only decrease the expenditure and complexity, but improve the precision of front-end system.Due to the limitation of individual ability and technological condition, we still use some traditional analog technology and can not accomplish board debugging of front-end system. However, this paper is an innovative and valuable study of digital ultrasound system, which is benefit for the engineers who engage in the relative field.
