The giant magnetoresistance (GMR) sensor chip is that which is based on magnetic effects of the nano-metal layers. The GMR effect has caused the various countries' business community and the academic circles since the discovery, the GMR effect has become one of hot topics in current aggregation physics. It not only has the vital scientific significance, moreover more importantly, it has the various application value. The present application domain mainly has the magnetic sensor, the stochastic memory and the high density read-out magnetism prime aspect. This kind of sensor in aspect and so on automated technology, domestic electric appliances, satellite positioning, navigation, automobile industry all has the widespread application prospect.This paper mainly explain the operation principle of spin valves multi-layer GMR, design of the GMR sensor and analysis of the sample. Explain the operation principle of spin valves GMR in theory, the metal mask technology and make the metal mask by semiconductor manufacturing technology. We utilize metal mask technology to make the valve GMR sensor, provide the photo of the GMR sensor at the same time. The paper provides the SEM photo of surface structure of the sample that we have made, the testing date of the GMR sensor and draw out the Output - Input curve.
