It can get more benefit to optimize reservoir operation without additional engineering investment. So it's important to study on reservoir optimal operation, which has theoretical and practical meaning. At the same time, the runoff foresting is becoming more and more precise and the computer technology is developing rapidly, which make real-time reservoir optimal operation possible. In this dissertation, work is processed and aimed at the problem of real-time beneficial purpose optimal operation, five parts are included in it:(1)The existing research results of reservoir optimal operation at home and at abroad are summarized. The shortcoming of reservoir optimal operation at present and the working pivots in later work are pointed out, and the main research content in this dissertation is designated.(2) The principle of implicit stochastic optimization is expatiated. Optimum decision rules for multi reservoir of flood season and non-flood season are studied, considering the different runoff and operation methods of reservoir in flood season and in non-flood season. It manifests that the runoff of current period in non-flood season has little effect on operation decision, while the optimal operation function of flood season must consider not only runoff of current period, but also runoff of remaining periods in the future . At the same time, the optimal operation function of flood season need to be divided into two sections, one is the operation function that is formed by the sample points whose water level at the end of current period are not reach the flood control limiting level , another is the operation function that is formed by other sample points.(3) The regulation of real time optimal operation is set up, on the basis of optimum decision rules, which unites reservoir optimal operation with hydropower station optimal operation and makes the results of implicit stochastic optimization be applied really to real time reservoir operation.(4)In this dissertation, beneficial purpose optimal operation is studied with Luhun Reservoir as the research object. The optimal operation model of reservoir with two hydropower stations is set up, the order of generating electricity is arranged. The model is solved by dynamic programming, the operation result of 82.7-2002.6 is obtained. By analyzing the result, the optimum decision rules of implicit stochastic optimal operation are given. The regulation of real time reservoir operation is set up on the basis of these rules. The optimum decision rules are proved correct, the regulation of real time reservoir and hydropower station operation is feasible, which can supply references to real-time beneficial purpose optimal operation of multi reservoir.(5) The conclusion of this dissertation is presented, and the emphasis of the next work is put forwarded.
