With its excellent section characters, the prestressed concrete box beam plays a main role in the girder bridge. During the bridge design, construction, supervision and so on, the impact of temperature needs to be considered. However, the related specifications of standards are dissimilarly in the different criterions or profession or countries. The dissimilarity is resulted from the variables of the exposure environments, material property, and so on. So the specifications can only used by reference, instead of by replaced.Based on the Xi'an Liberation Bridge supervision work, the temperature field and the strain field of the box beam are measured on site by the means of "Time-Temperature-Deformation-Stress". The bridge is a prestressed concrete continual box beam bridge. According to the site collected temperature data, the paper brings forward the characters of the temperature field in box-beam, and the fitting temperature gradient of PC continuous box beam that is the combination of the New Zealand and the Chinese railway standard is also put forward. And the temperature field is also emulated by the finite element software ANSYS, at the same time, the characters of the temperature field and the fitting temperature gradient is proved. On the following, according to the site collected data, the effect of PC continuous box beam subjected to the temperature is assayed. Based on the site collected data, the ANSYS analysis modal is built, and the effect of box beam on established state is analyzed. After contrasting the above data, we found that they verified the application of the characters of the temperature field and the fitting temperature gradient, and the effect of box beam influenced by the temperature. In succession, the gap of them is analyzed and the reasons are also explored. At last, the paper bring out a difficult that the closure of box beam is hard to meet the design desired for the reason of the construction progress and the construction weather condition and others.
