Tahe Asphalt And Asphalt Mixture Performance

With the rapid development of highway infrastructure, demands for high quality paving asphalt, especially heavy traffic paving asphalt, increased greatly. Thus, it is of great urgency to develop domestic high quality paving asphalt and bring forward guidance for its development and performance improvement.On the basis of relative research results at home and abroad, this thesis focuses on the performance of Tahe paving asphalt refined from Tahe heavy viscous oil, which comes from the south of Xinjiang Province. With the comprehensive analysis of properties of crude oil and its residue, arts of refining and asphalt constituent analysis, influences of properties of Tahe crude oil and production techniques to performances of Tahe asphalt were conducted on the basis of experiments. Moreover, proportion design of Tahe asphalt mixture and experiments of its pavement performance were conducted. And their interaction relationship was obtained. Therefore, more profound understanding and objective evaluation of the Tahe asphalt and its mixture are obtained, which have provided the necessary technical bases and references for its application.
