In the desert area, road construction is unusual. The Aeolian sand is the most abundant material, but its engineering property is so bad that it has not been used widely as paving material. On systematic analysis of engineering property of the Aeolian sand, we developed two kinds of sand solidified agents—CU Sand Solidified Agent for the construal layer and CL Sand Solidified Agent for the structural layer. CU stabilized Aeolian sand and CL stabilized Aeolian sand are chosen as object for research. On the base of the tests including mechanical property, frost resistance property, dye shrinkage property, temperature shrinkage property, this paper mainly analyses influential factors and inherent law of property about the stabilized Aeolian sand mixture. And then it demonstrates the inner mechanism of strength forming of the stabilized Aeolian sand mixture. Further more, it explains the construction technique and provides scientific foundation for the using of Aeolian sand as paving material.
