The automobile detent is essential equipments relate to the traffic safety, whose quality is very important. Perfect test system and good test facility are the premise and the foundation to guarantee the product quality.It can improve research and develop level, elevate brake technical and develop friction material theory according to the research of automobile detent inertia test-bed and make it well to simulate practice use mode and setting condition which could reflect detent performance truly. It can elevate detent test technical and the design level of test-bed too, which have much more important to the research and develop of detent product, quality control and the elevation of brake performance of the whole automobile at the same time.This provided proposes the testing system of detent, the fundamental structure of detent inertia test-bed, controlling measures through researching the configuration, characteristic, working principle of the friction material test facility from domestic and oversea. And it provided designing courses and the essential designing means of automobile detent inertia test-bed trough analyzing automobile brake process. At the same time, this paper simulated the detent inertia test-bed of heavy vehicles which involved confirmation and combination of test-bed inertia, the choice of host drive electric motor, the structure of machine and fixing mode, slipway structure and lock mode, cooling and dust-remove of test-bed etc. At last this paper made a test research with test-bed designed, and presented the test ways of auto regulation test of the arm, analyzed the factors influencing the function of auto regulation test of the arm.This test platform has already passed check and accept, it is proved that the test-bed could carry out detent performance test, heat-declining and renewing test, brake liner patch(block) abrasion test, detent yawp mensuration and record temperature of measuring test piece at the same time, record relation between pressure of input pipeline and output brake moment, record relation between brake test piece and output moment , which were put forward at the beginning. The structure of the test-bed is reasonable, the control method is advanced, the basic skill is perfect and the system function safely steady and credibly because of the adoption of autocontrol and electricity-machine device which is mature and credibly.
