This paper introduced a kind of design that use the alternating servo system as the driving source of therapeutic instrument for lumbar disk vertebral. The objective of the paper is to apply the alternating servo system technology in fast traction for lumbar disk vertebral, so as to improve the precision and respond speed, avoid high energy loss, increase service life of device, decrease cost of system.The servo system is one of the automatic control systems. It can control the rotate angle or displacement of controlled object, so as to execute of input command automatically, continuously and accurately. It possess feedback negative close loop control system under normal conditions, but sometime it's efficacy can be also achieved by open loop control. The displacement or angle can be taken as automatic control system of controlled object in objective in application. motor in servo system need high-speed of respond, accurate fixed position and large rotate inertia. Special drive unit of this motor is called servo drive unit, and generally it involves current, position and velocity. In brief, the principle is that velocity and position signal are returned to drivers to adjust feedback negative close loop for PID by rotate encoder or rotate transformer on the basis of AC or DC motor for open loop control. In addition, the current close loop in the drivers, pass through these close loop to adjust, making the output of the motor responded to the characteristics to all raise to accuracy and times that initial value.
