Air Conditioning system consumes the most energy in buildings. Right now, high-energy consumption is prevalent among buildings in our country because of AC systems. Therefore, the chief task of energy-saving is to make efficient use of energy in AC system.Energy-saving of AC system is a systems engineering, of which statistics and analysis is the base, design and evaluation is the key, and technical reconstruction is the measure. Via surveying AC systems in Nanjing district, this thesis tries to set up evaluation models on design and operating, and to achieve the goal of presenting gist and methods for right understanding the actuality energy consumption of AC systems in this area.This thesis uses joint-frequency bins as load calculation model, adopts typical meteorological year datas of Nanjing district to construct two-dimension bin distribution, and compiles load calculation procedure. Relating to energy consumption model, cold source and water system and air transport system are established respectively. Aiming at the system composed of chillers, we get the conclusion that load controlled in-phase among chillers is propitious to save energy. Four weighting coefficients of IPLV are modified with membership functions, then evaluation model of energy-saving design in chiller rooms are established with fuzzy theory, which is composed of four static indexes— capacity ratio, chiller performance index, pump efficiency and water transport factor. In order to fully excavate the potential of exiting AC systems, this thesis introduces integrated differential temperature as a criterion of energy efficiency maturity degree in chiller rooms, and presents the potential of energy-saving in operating phase. Moreover, cold source, water system and air transport system are set as three independent indexes to establish fuzzy evaluation system on operating.These models above are applied to a complex building in Nanjing district. According to its load distribution, we set up a specific IPLV equation. Then, evaluation results are analyzed, which point out its shortages in design and operating, and energy conservation measures are also presented.Some representational buildings in Nanjing district are taken for example to analyze the problems existing in the design, operating and management of AC systems. The corresponding suggestions of energy-saving are also brought forward.
