Refrigerated Container Remote Fault Diagnosis System

Maritime refrigerated container is known as a moving refrigeratory at sea in the cold chain. Once some fault takes place in the complex and changeable situation at sea during the voyage, it is common that the shipman comes to the spot to have a check and a repair. The most up-to-date containered vessel can carry as many as hundreds of TEU refrigerated containers. Technicians are short while the number of containers is large, especially the technology of refrigerated container is getting more and more intensive and it becomes more difficult to diagnose and maintain the equipments. Thus, only the experience of shipman can get to nowhere but low efficiency and bad effect. What's more, the manufacturers or experts will be needed to provide technique support under many circumstances. In view of all the above, it is quite significant to study the fault diagnosis of maritime refrigerated containers through remote control and its system structure in order to improve the safety, reliability and efficiency in operation and decrease economic loss.This paper studies a few remote controlling techniques of refrigerated containers widely-used in the world at present, and the usual diagnosing methods in the field of fault diagnosis and also the remote diagnosis system connected with the net telecommunication technique, thus provides technical support for the realization of remote fault diagnosis of refrigerated containers. According to the actual situation in the manufacture and the use of refrigerated containers, this dissertation puts forward the theory of remote diagnosis system of refrigerated containers based on satellite telecommunication through using telecommunication equipments on vessels.
