Bird impact is one of flight accidents, and it is paroxysmal and universal. Hole will be found on airplane surface when impact is slight, however crash will happen when the impact is serious. Anti-impact is one of factors when designing an airplane. ARJ21 is under designing and manufacturing in our country, and we will continue the research of big airplane for civil and military use, in order to pass the strict navigability validations. Anti-bird impact analysis can reduce the cost of experiments and improve the design efficiency. Anti-bird impact simulation analysis research is done in this paper based on the above description.Because of the complicated process, experience and experiment are the main methods in bird impact, advanced software is adopted to simulate the process of bird impact with the development of numerical analysis. In this paper, three methods are discussed and compared, numerical analysis method is selected as the method at last; In the second paragraph, the basic principle and numerical methods are summarized about bird impact; in order to verify the validity of ANSYS/LS-DYNA, different methods are used to validate the accuracy of the method in the third paragraph; the aluminum plate in the experiment for bird material model is analyzed on size and attended mode with experiment machine, and the final result is given based on the analysis; forehead of airplane with titled-plate is analyzed about the performance of anti-bird impact, some suggestions are given at last in the fifth paragraph.Pre-research of anti-bird impact is done in this paper, some results are expected to adopt during the research in big airplane design.
