Using the simulation technology to research the dynamic property of the whole aircraft and landing gear system is important for improving the flight performance of an aircraft and reducing its manufacturing cost. The principal function of ADAMS software is simply introduced and the components of forces acting on the shock-absorber are expressed in this paper. With the application of multi-body dynamics and based on Adams/Aircraft, the mechanical models of main landing gear and the virtual prototype of the whole aircraft are constructed. The above models are used to simulate the dropping test of the main landing gear and landing test of the aircraft. The two results have a good correspondence. In the end, the whole aircraft taxi test and the main landing gear retract and extent test are simulated.
