Open Cycle Torpedo Turbine Engine Energy Supply Systems Research

Modern anti-ship and anti-submarine torpedoes dynamic system with variable conditions (variable depth, speed) operation is achieved by the regulation of energy supply system. This paper is analyzed based on the pressure regulating valve torpedo constitute thermal power energy supply system. By discussing the characteristics of the torpedo turbine engines energy supply system, the scheme of the fish torpedo engine sources supply is demonstrated, and the three-speed pressure valve is designed. The author builds the dynamic process simulation calculation plant for the thermal engine thrust system which is based on the fix quantity fuel pump and pressure control valve.The three-speed pressure valve is the kernel of flux regulated system, the mechanism of the new type valve is developed, the key-technical parameters are optimized and the principle function is designed. The capability is primary assessed by the simulation calculation based on the valve nested in the sources supply system. The character of pressure equalized of the valve is assessed principally. The impact of the system safety is discussed by the different dynamic switching characteristics.Author does deep research work on torpedo thermal dynamic propulsion system controlled by pressure regulation valve by analyzing the overall system. The theory analysis results, simulation results and test results are identical. The simulation plant can reflect the trend of test really, has enough calculation precision, can be used for simulating the engineering practice. The theory analysis and calculating results can help production device and examination.
