Solid Blumlein Pulse Forming Line (PFL) is a promising component in the research field of the pulsed power source. It can make pulsed power source much more compact and reliable. This paper presents a kind of newly developed polymer composites. Its relative permittivity can reach 100~250, which is much higher than that of de-ioned water and oil. At the same time,the permittivity of this polymer composites is nearly a constant at different frequences from 1MHz to 800MHz and at different applied voltages on the samples made from polymer composites.The experimental results of two Solid state Blumlein PFLs made from the polymer composites with different switches also are presented in this paper. Two different relative permittivities are 95 and 225 respectively.GaAs-PCSS, triggered vacuum switch and triggered gas switch are used in the experiments. The output voltage pulse of the Solid state Blumlein PFL with GaAs-PCSS has less than 5ns risetime. Its flattop is about 22ns and its ripples of the flattop is less than ±1%.The prospective solid Blumlein PFLs using polymer composites as energy storage dielectric can satisfy many application needs.In the end this paper debates the further reserarch direction.
