This paper focuses on the whole digital Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) controlling system based on singlechip. In-depth research is carried on, aiming at several pivotal technologies of PMSM controlling system, including SVPWM control strategy, two closed-loop control strategy of speed and current position detection. Also, a simulation model for PMSM sensorless vector control system is described in this paper.At first, the controlling strategy of PMSM and SVPWM method are discussed. Then the speed and current closed-loop control strategy and rotor position detection are studied. A sensorless control method of salient-pole permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) by injecting high frequency voltage signal is presented, which is feasible for position and speed estimation at a low speed, including zero speed for salient-pole PMSM. At the end, the PMSM control system based on infineon XC164CM chip is designed. In virtue of powerful processing capacity and plenty peripherals of XC164CM, the system adopt more reasonable software architecture instead of the former complicated hardware circuit, which results in better dependability.The experiment results indicate that the controlling system has better capabilities than other digital analogy mix controllers. In addition, the software of this servo controller can be easily transplanted to other hardware platform in more fields such as numerical control machine, robot, special handling equipment, space flight and aviation etc.
