The planar linkage mechanism and the cam-linkage combined mechanism are very extensive in application. The design and analysis on them is an important subject of the theory of machines and mechanisms. The traditional mechanical analytic method is mainly illustration. Although it is intuitional and easy to solute, its precision is a great way. With the appearance of computer and the sharp improvement of its capability, the design and analysis on mechanism by dint of computer has become an important method, and the development of mechanical computer aided analysis and simulation system has become an important task.This document speaks of the basic composition of mechanism at first, probes into the composition principle of the planar linkage mechanism, carries out the kinematics analysis on two kinds of particular simple link and RRR, RPR and RRP Ⅱ -class linkage groups, introduces the kinetic rule of the follower of cam mechanism in detail, derives the equations of outline curves of several kinds of planar cam mechanism(translation roller, translation flat-bottom and sway roller), and draws the theoretic and realistic outline curves of them with the matlab compiling technique; Then explains the basis of the graph and the expression method of the mechanism in the computer, points out the relation between graph and mechanism sketch, and achieves computer description of topological graph of planar linkage mechanism and cam-linkage combined mechanism; On this basis, especially explains how to establish the node basic information matrix, the restricting relation matrix and parameter matrix about cam and follower, thus constructs out the mathematics models of the planar linkage mechanism and the cam-linkage combined mechanism; Through analyzing the mathematics model, isolates the mechanism models which can be solved independently, solves them with the corresponding mechanism analysis method, and establishes the kinematics computer aided analysis and simulation system of the planar linkage mechanism and the cam-linkage combined mechanism; Finally demonstrates the system through several examples. For any given mechanism, as long as the known information matrix of it is inputted, the analysis and calculation of it will be finished automatically by the system, and simulation graphic and kinetic information (displacement, velocity and acceleration) of the required points will be gained.
