In recent years , as China's rapid economic development and urbanization process accelerates, the government increase urban municipal projects. Due to subway's unique advantages, in large cities , which have become the main means of transportation, but also become an important symbol of urban modernization and windows. Shield technology is main mechanization technology , extensively used in underground tunnel construction. The guidance system of Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) is the commanding system and steer device in the under construction process, which guide TBM move forward along Designed Tunnel Axis (DTA) . The right measurement of real-time attitude of TBM is the basic premise that insures the engineering quantity and smoothly advances. For the deviation of TBM can be correct in construction process in time, guidance system is used for the tunnel engineering at home and abroad.Firstly, the present research situation and the developing direction of at home and abroad are summarized, and the research aspect and main content of this paper are made. This paper introduces the aim and meaning of study on the guidance management systems of TBM; It recommends basic principle on the basic coordinate system in the guidance system and coordinate transform; Introduced in brief two kinds of description method (attitude matrix, Euler angle) of rigid body attitude and established the method of TBM attitude description; Researched on the technology problem about the application of automatic tracking field , which is conducted based on surveying robot. After a number of technical issues examined in a brief overview of the operating principles of sensors and automatic surveying robot, the second development environment for the surveying robot based on GeoCOM component is mainly presented, aimed to control surveying robot for automatic tracking survey.At the same time, GIS applications in engineering status is introduced; By analysis of thetunnel axis design features, proposed overall calculation algorithm to the point coordinate on the tunnel design axis and its corrective calculations and models; The survey key of TBM attitude by the surveying robot and electronic double-axis inclination sensor was provided. The formula of 3D-coordinate of the basic-points of TBM and the calculation of the three Euler angle, is self-governed deduced and which is analyzed on simulation trial; Through analysis of the shape of the ring components, in-depth study of the optimal models of rings selection, explored the flow algorithm models of rings selection , and proposed a new useful measurement of rings for just build in.Based on the above algorithms and models and by the needs of systems analysis, the overall framework for the design of the completed system is conducted and accomplished design of functional module and database , developed guidance management system used for TBM advance which can adapt to practical works, and a simple analysis of the test results by the use of relevant data to simulation trials of the guidance management systems.
