With the development of technology, the increasing complication of the structure of machinery and its running requirements need accurate real time monitoring, in order to discover the hidden malfunction as soon as possible, identify fault correctly and find out the source of it. Many condition monitoring of the machinery and fault diagnosis systems have been build, but many problem has been exposured at the same time.1. Many condition monitoring of the machinery and fault diagnosis systems are based on the analysis of the signal coming from single channel. The signal coming from single channel only reflects the vibration of the rotor in the sensor orientation, so it can't accurately offer integral information. That is based on the signal coming from single channel so the information is deficiency. Use this signal information it is very easy lead to fail diagnosis.2. Many condition monitoring of the machinery and fault diagnosis systems are aim at ascertain machinery. It has many defect such as can't use in common currency, High expense in build, Not easy to extend the fault diagnosis system.3. Condition monitoring of the machinery and fault diagnosis systems should be used in industry, but many of them is used in laboratory, not be good use in industry.4. Some condition monitoring of the machinery and fault diagnosis systems has been used in industry, they apply information fusion technology in the monitoring and diagnosis, but the diagnosis veracity is low.Aiming at the problem in the rotating machine fault diagnosis, Based on the technology of vector spectrum, use the modern computer technology build a condition monitoring of the machinery and fault diagnosis system in this article.In this article, first, we discuss the vector spectrum theory which based on the congenetic information fusion technology, and get the conclusion from comparet the theory: the vector spectrum can radically change the discontented state and make the monitoring and diagnosis accurate much more. And then according to the system's building principle: safe, treliable, advanced, applied; build the system according to this principle: modularization, open platform, easy to optimize and configuration, with reasonable performance to price ratio. At last build the condition monitoring of the machinery and fault diagnosis system with Web service system, B/S mode, on the J2EE platform, use MySQL database, and based on the technology of vector spectrum. Use the systm in industry and get nicer economic efficiency and societal efficiency. From the study of the vector spectrum theory and its applications, a conclusion can be affirmed: the vector spectrum has high practical value and a developing future. Build and use in industrial practice the condition monitoring of the machinery and fault diagnosis system based on the vector spectrum theory prove the system have a powerful life in industry.
