Many factors could influence the shoring of foundation (slope) engineering. It has great maters with the situation of ground, the stability of the foundation(slope), the stratum situation, the hydrological geology condition, the construction management, the local inspects and the construct in the ground borders upon in the stability of the foundation(slope), there are so many hidden troubles of accident. At the same time, the shoring of foundation (slope) is just a complicated cross subject, referring to so many other subjects, such as the soil mechanics hydrogeology, engineering geology, structure mechanics, construction technologies. Therefore, many problems should be researched, not only being done research on the strength of soils, deformation of soils, stability of soils, but also on reciprocity between soil and shoring construction. Simultaneity, the infection and restriction to soil caused by construction technology and construction process should be studied. The feedback to deformation of soil will make some influence on shoring construction design, design methods and calculating means.This text first introduced development status of soil nailing wall at home and abroad, then analyzed the effecting loads of soil nailing wall, the modality of soil nailing failure side, also expatiated some correlating technology, such as exploration, design, construction methods, quality verifying and local inspection. The similarities and differences of active criterions at home and abroad also had been introduced and compared, then made particularly research and contrast on soil nailing shoring mode, and brought forward that architects could choose the calculating methods which being showed in active criterion and any other open published enchiridions. At the same time, this text also emphasized on that the engineering design should take more than two kinds of design schemes in order to checkout. Then it introduced the application situation of soil nailing wall technologies in Changsha city, which combined with actual geotechnical engineering characteristics of Changsha area. Three aspects of problems in Engineering instances should be taken into account: (1) The design and construction about soil nailing wall shoring modes in alluvial advanced phases of Xiang River(Good qualification soil); (2) The design and construction about soil nailing wall shoring modes in alluvial stair phases of Liuyang River(generic qualification soil, groundwater richness); (3)The design and construction about soil nailing wall shoring modes in the old city zone of Changsha (Which has some buildings closed to in digging sheared side, the stratum of breast wall in foundation is just particular soil which is piled in short time and its ingredient is not well-proportioned, it also has relaxed configuration, called mixed fill). According to some different factors in Changsha city which include the physiognomy cell, soil ingredient, hydrological geology condition, circumjacent situations of foundation(slope), the experience and lecture in design and construction of soil nailing wall shoring modes have been researched and summarized. At last, some conclusions which really have practical value in design and construction of soil nailing wall shoring modes in Changsha city have been educed, which could be consulted by any other similar projects.
