An excellent seat should be able to supply with the driver a comfortable and steadysitting state suitable for the driver's physiological and mental basics, in addition to agood field of vision, operation and safe space. The most important is reducing thevibration and impulsion transferred to the driver, meet the evaluation standard, soreducing the fatigue of the driver in longterms of continuous workings ate as far aspossible, as well as the affect upon the driver's physiological and mental state.Over the past few years, a great deal of interests have been stimulated in vehicle semi-active control suspension technology because of the increasing requirements for thevehicle seat comfort and handling stability.This paper establishes a vehicle seat semi-active control system, applying fuzzy-PIDlogic control strategy, using MATLAB/SIMULINK as a simulation tool to simulate thiscontrol system. Based on the simulation results, this paper designs and develops a fuzzy-PID controlled semi-active control system in which TMS320LF2407A plays the mainrole.The simulation results demonstrate that the mathematical model and control methodspresented by this paper are accurate and reliable.The performances of semi-active controlsystem excel that of passive suspension in the aspect of vehicle seat comfort and handlingstability...
