Along with the development of CCD technology ,CCD camera has gotten extensive application in many fields such as military , spaceflight, medicine, oceanography and so on.At the same time,each application field also has put forward the special requiment for the performance of CCD camera based on the own characteristic.Some require transmitting image signal fast and real time,some require collectting some special image signal under the strong electromagnetism disturbs or radiates environment,and some require gathering image signal remotely. The traditional transmission style of image signal must be changed for satisfying these requirements.As the development of optical fiber technology and photoelectron technology , utilizing optical fiber as the transmission medium to transmit signal has exceptional advantage– the transmission capacity of optical fiber is large,the transmission speed is rapid,the transmission distance is far,the secrecy performance is good and have strong ability to fight electromagnetism disturbing.This topical is based on the above application background. The card for gathering image signal of CCD camera with optical fiber interface based on the PCI bus and DDR memory has designed .The driver program and application program according to the card has written.Gathering card is linked to the CCD camera with two road optical fiber,one road is used to transmit image signal ,the other is used to transmit the control signal of CCD camera.Image signal is buffered in DDR memory first ,and then transmit to the computer through the PCI9054 interface,at last the iamge is processing and displayed under the coordination of driver and application program,at the same time,the application program may also directly dispatch control signal through the grab card to CCD camera. The research background and the goal of the topical have been introduced in the thesis,and the CCD and CCD camera also have been introduced simply, the design process of the entire hardware system of the gathering card have been discussed,including the working principle of the entire hardware system and the specific design of each hardware modual,and the real hardware picture have been brought out,the style of implementing the PCI interface in detail on the basis of reasearching the technology relating to PCI have been introduced, the way to design the dirver program according to the gathering card based on the introducing technology of designing the WDM driver program have been explained, the design of application program according to the entire collection system have been discussed, the real running effect picture of the application program have been given,at last the research work of this thesis have been summarized, the problem and diretion that need to further study have been pointed out.
