The material testing machine is one kind of standard test equipment, all kind of material performance test, the material science research and the experimental teaching need to apply it to carry on the material mechanics performance test.The measurement and control of material testing machine system has the performance requirement of high velocity,expansibility,precise movement control,multitasking and load control of implementing organ and so on. The measurement and control system not only must carry on the data acquisition and processing, but also realize to the implementing close-loop control, which is the automation test platform with the collection of computer measurement and control technology together. The electrically controlled testing machine based on PC has good test performance, the data and curves are demonstrated easily, the system configuration is sample, and also has strong data on-line processing ability.This article has introduced the constitution,the work principle,the development direction and the existing problem of the testing machine, it has analyzed the process how to use the object-oriented method based on modulation structural design and Visual C++ to develop the software of measurement and control system. The measurement and control software that provides a software experiment platform and the friendly man-machine interface is succinct and easy to operate. The multi-thread data acquisition,the on-line digital filter and the new PID control method has guaranteed the accuracy of testing data acquisition, and the curve expansion and contraction algorithm partially realize the curve expansion and contraction in wide range, which is good for the curve detail. The software uses ADO to visit the Access experiment information database, and uses the least square method to process system rating data. With the aid of the Office automation technology, it can create report form through the template. Base on the PID methods, the control performance of the material testing machine is improved greatly. Besides.The article reports and analyzes Discrete-time Variable Structure Control (DVSC) systems. Which is useful for next work.The whole system runs on an even keel and operates easily. The experimental result of the data acquisition and the movement control has indicated the system design.is reasonable.
