Reliability engineering is an important fringe subject, with product life as its research object. With the development of scientific technology and increasing demands from clients, reliability theory has been widely applied to many areas. Moreover, as a quality trait closely related to time, products reliability has been paid more and more attention. Reliability simulation, as a new rising reliability technology, incorporating reliability study with simulation technology, has been proposed to analyze the reliability.This paper focuses on the reliability simulation research of the Rail Vehicle Door System, based on Reliability Engineering program from Nanjing Kangni New Technology of Mechantronic Co. Ltd. First the paper presents the development and study actuality of reliability simulation technology. After analyzing the corporation needs on reliability, the paper designs the system structure and function model, and then does research on the key technologies of reliability simulation. Finally, Monte Carlo simulation method is employed to develop the reliability simulation system of Rail Vehicle Door, making use of the combinatorial programming technology of MATLAB and. NET.
