| Two-Amplitude control technique for actively clamped resonant DC-Linkinverter (TACRLI)solved the problem of too much losses in the resonant loop.However, TACRLI can only use the discrete pulse modulation(DPM). As the result,there are too much low frequency harmonic waves, which affect the outputperformance.In this paper, a PWM control technique is presented for Resonant DC-Linkinverter, based on the TACRLI technique, which gives the inverter better efficiencyand better output performance. The author expects to enlarge its application in higherpower situations, and to promote the industrialization as soon as possible.At first, the paper reviews the development of Resonant DC-Link inverter, andemphasizes the work principle of Actively Clamped Resonant DC-Link Inverter.Analyst on the problems of the inverter is given.Then, by the contrast of the simulation results for DPM control and PWMcontrol, the paper proves that PWM control has its advantages and feasibility. In thispart, the paper also analyzes the working process of TACRLI.And then, the paper gives design principle and analyst about the parameter forthe PWM control of TACRLI. In this part, simulations and theory analyst are used tohelp the design.
