With The Power System Economic And Reliability Assessment

Economy and reliability are the most two important index of Power System, but also contradictory to each other. This paper finds a method to evaluate both economy and reliability of distribution network, combining with distribution network reconfiguration and PSS/A. It uses power customer interruption cost to describe reliability index, also with economic investment,network loss,maintenance cost and so on, it solves the problem between economy and reliability. This method can be used in evaluating both different projects and the same project.The method takes distribution network reconfiguration into consideration. It is reasonable to compare with the best mode. It introduces reliability weight to satisfy different reliability demands from different distribution networks.The testing example established with this method presents the choice of different connection modes in distribution systems based on load density.And also, this paper did the basic research of reliability optimization. It finds popular conclusion on the basis of question simplification, evaluating each basic equipment of distribution network. This is useful for further research on reliability optimization.
