High-speed electric door is used very abroad, and it can be applied in office buildings, emporiums and other public sites. What's more it can also be used in super marts, storages, where it needs automation management. It has many advantages, such as perfect protection, reliable, economical, easy-maintenance and update.Usually, we use AC motors for the control of electric door sys-tem, and adjust the motor's speed by PLC and transducer. There are some advantages, such as: it is easy-control, has short re-search periods and so on. However, there are several disadvan-tages, for example, the low precision and the weak expansibility, which restrict the door system's usage in many occasions.This system designed in my paper uses STR750 as the con-troller MPU, which drives the BLDCM. The performance of BLDCM is better than AC motor. BLDCM has small cubage, long life-span, easy control and high precision. STR750 is a 32 bits ARM7 MCU developed by ST Co., and it is special designed for the controls of BLDCM. It is integrated and contains 6 channels PWM signals, so it costs lower compared with the DSP system. We use HALL sensor to assure the position of the motor's rotor, and the PI arithmetic to realize double closed-loop control, which contains the speed loop and the current loop, and the experiment result is satisfied.The design based on ARM has wide expansibility. We can add PDA Bluetooth remote control on it and also can communication with the upper station. The interface on the upper station is based on a virtual instrument software-LabWindows/CVI, and communi-cates with the lower stations through serial bus RS485.
