For the recent 30 years, the researches of Charge Coupled Device(CCD) and itsapplication technology has made remarkable progress, especially in the areas of imagesensor and non-contact measurement. As has been widely used in the fields ofsecurity system, intelligent transportation system and image information processing,nowadays,CCD has become an indispensable tool in people's everyday life.Compared with the traditional camera device, CCD not only has the advantage in itssize, weight and high sensitivity, but also has very high spatial resolution.The spacialarrry CCD is becoming more and more useful in the fields of satellite monitoring,space remote sensing imagings and the earth observation.The design of CCD's working sequencer and video signal prcessing circuit is themost important part of CCD imaging system design. Its main function is to makeCCD work properly and make sure the collecting, processing and the output of thedetected image signal. Combined with the working principles of frame transferingCCD, the driving sequencer of FTT1010-M (CCD produced by Dalsa Co.Ltd) wasanalyzed and corresponding driving circuit was then designed. ComplexProgrammable Logic Device (CPLD) has been chosen as the hardware platform, anddriving sequencer was realized with VHDL. The functional and timing simulation ofthe driving sequencer has been successfully fulfilled with Quartusâ…¡(Altera's designsoftware for CPLD) and EPM7160SLC84-10 (a kind of CPLD in MAX7000s seriesproduced by Altera Co.Ltd.) was used to fit.CCD video signal processor TDA8783 byPhilips Co.Ltd is used in video signal processing circuit design.TDA8783 ptovidesCorrelated Double Sampling (CDS), Programmable Gain Amplifier(PGA), OpticalBlack(OB) level auto-calibration loop, analog-to-digital conversion and otherfunctions in one chip,so that the performance of CCD video signal processing wasgreatly enhanced and high Signal Noise Ratio(SNR) and excellent reliability isrealized. |
