The caseless Ammunition is a new ordnance product, which is developed rapidly in near ten years. Because the caseless Ammunition has no metal cartridge, the weight of ammunition is lighten, the bomb load of campaign flat roof is increased, and the campaign efficiency of weapon system is improved. Therefore, the research of caseless Ammunition technique is regarded important by developed countries in the world.The thesis carries through the collectivity design of caseless Ammunition, which keystone is the design of cartridge part. The research of correlation date found the technology of caseless Ammunition cartridge part which was adopted anciently was combustible cartridge case technology. Owing to the combustible cartridge case adopts nitration cotton as its main material, which is a kind of powder component, the technology of combustible cartridge case has big problem in security. A new way to clear away the cartridge was put forward, which is consumable cartridge case technology. The vanish mechanism of consumable cartridge case technology not depend on burning, but depend on the cartridge which is operated by high temperature and pressure powder gas breaking up, aerification, and vanishing. The material of cartridge is selected by this vanish mechanism. Base on a great deal of trial, the material of cartridge is chose polyethylene alcohol crinkle formaldehyde, and appended H vesicant with it, which are become sparkle plastic body. Because the inner multi- hole structure of sparkle plastic is struck out, broke up and gasified by powder gas much easier, this material heightens the nature of vanishing. Base on the characteristic of cartridge and all parameters of the same caliber and type pill, the caseless Ammunition is carried through design and machining. Depended on the technology request, the intensity, security, vanishing and chamber inner stability of caseless Ammunition are carried through trial, and the result is up to the mustard. It is found that the design cartridge is in reason, the technics is feasible, and the caseless Ammunition has better trajectory stability and bearing heat.
