Using Smart materials in structural vibration control are being the focus in the study of Vibration Control Engineering. Because of the piezoelectric material's advantages of good performance ,high bandwidth,high precision, fast response characteristics and so on, they are studied by more and more scholars at home and abroad.In this thesis, the stainless steel antilever is studied, and PZT-5H piezoelectric ceramics as a sensor and actuators are used to study the piezoelectric smart structure's problem of ative vibration control. And the analytical methods are used to establish a piezoelectric beam's mechanical model. ANSYS is used to construct the piezoelectric beams's FEM model and to analysis the FEM modal to get the natural frequency of beam and vibration mode. Besides, methods of verification are necessarily adopted to test whether the model is correct. On this basis ,the traditional PID and fuzzy control are used to design the controller ,at the same time, Simulink tools in MATLAB are used to simulate the vibration control.On the basis of simulation data of the control system, vibration control experiment platform is constructed based on Labview RT real-time module and NI PCI-7041 Embedded controllers. Under the initial disturbance on the cantilever, vibration suppression's experiment is carried out. The results showed that, the use of piezoelectric smart materials on the active vibration control is feasible and effective based on the Labview RT real-time systems.
