| In this paper, the techniques of passive vibration control based on piezoelectric ceramic are studied. A particular analysis of the theory and a lot of experiments are designed and implemented for a simply supported cantilever beam. Firstly, according to the characteristics of piezoceramics, the optimal values of electric component are determined. Because of the high value of inductors, the simulated inductor circuits are adopted. Then, the shunt damping circuit, is studied on both single mode and multimode vibration damping. When multimode vibration damping of shunt damping ciruit is done, not only the cubage of the circuit is large, but also the parameters of the circuit are not easy to tune. So it is not easy to get. the optimal result. In order to get better result of multimode vibration damping, a new approach is introduced in this paper. A synthetic impedance, consisting of a voltage controlled current source DSP system, is used to synthesize the terminal impedance of a shunt network. And also by experiment, the better vibration damping result is proved, especially when it is applied on the multimode vibration damping. At last, another passive damping method, SSD(Synchronized Switch Damping), is preliminarily discussed on both theory and experimentation. |
