On the study of SanChaJi Xiangjiang River Bridge, the present paper gives an analysis on earthquake-resistance of long-span self-anchored suspension bridge structure, which the theory of finite element as well as nonlinear time-analysis method has been applied in this paper. The main result of this paper are presented as follows:1. On the study of single-particle damping structure with viscous dampers, the general regularity under various parameters has been concluded on the basis of simulation analysis and massive calculation in ANSYS.2. On the basis of SanChaJi Xiangjiang River Bridge, several influence of different structural system in long-span self-anchored suspension bridge has been studied, such as structural free vibration characteristics and earthquake response.3. On the apply of viscous dampers in longitudinal and lateral direction of large-span self-anchored suspension bridge by viscous dampers, the characteristics and regularity of shock absorbing of viscous dampers has been summarized through sensitivity analysis.The effects of shock absorption has been studied at the same time.4 The present paper gives an analysis on the factors which affects shock absorption, such as imports of peak speed of seismic wave, characteristics of the seismic spectrum and structural damping ratio, etc..5. Elastoplastic earthquake response analysis of long-span self-anchored suspension bridge has been discussed on the basis of elastic earthquake response analysis.
