Suspension bridge is a composite system of suspension which consists of girder cable, tower,hanger, saddle,anchor and etc. With looking beautiful, good economic performance and the advantages of strong adaptability of topography and geology condition, Self-anchored suspension is more and more popular in China. In recent years, with the society developing, we need more stronger transport capacity. It is difficult to Increase the span of the bridge on the basis of the traditional form of suspension bridges, so the form of continuous multi-tower is brought up, especially the plan of three-tower self-anchored suspension bridge that getting the favour of designers. As a new form of structure, Many problems still need to study, such as static and dynamic features of three-tower self-anchored suspension bridge structural system and comparing different constraint system and etc. In this paper, some aspects three-tower self-anchored suspension bridge are studied and discussed. Such as analysis theory, the static behavior and dynamic behavior and etc.This paper first introduce self-anchored suspension bridges’s development and history, a bridges of self-anchored suspension in Dalian, for example, static and dynamic calculation model is established by MIDAS, research the results of three-tower concrete self-anchored suspension bridge under static and dynamic load. Comparing the internal force under the influence of live load on different ways of connection between tower structure system.To explore the most reasonable way of tower and beam connection. Based on the state into a bridge, calculate the internal force and displacement when the live load, temperature load,creep and shrinkage affects with the two systems of cable saddle sliding and consolidation. There are two damper layout schemes, decorate in the middle tower and decorate in the edge towers. Select two options of the optimal results. With viscous damper parameters sensitivity analysis, comparing the results of each parameter damper seismic for exploring the most reasonable parameters of the damper choice. As the special form of cable plane, we need to design a new type of cable clamp structure. Do the static analysis of cable clip with ANSYS Workbench,and calculate anti-sliding coefficient and the strength safety coefficient On the basis of the specification of suspension bridges. The results meet the requirements of specification.
